Real Bride India - The Yugen Dress
On a warm June day in June 2025, India and her husband Ryan celebrated their wedding surrounded by nature at Camping Lanchettes, a serene alpine setting located at the end of Peisey-Nancroix valley, in France.
India chose our Yugen Dress, a gown that commands attention through its confidence. Crafted from luminous folds of Naia satin, the silhouette is both simple and statuesque, allowing the structure and fabric to speak for themselves. A high neckline creates a striking balance with the completely open back, while the subtle underbust seam and diagonal darts at the small of the back add a sculptural detail. The fabric itself is an ethical, vegan alternative to silk, made from fibres sourced from pine and eucalyptus forests, a material that feels as refined as it looks.
Photographer James Starkey captured the gown beautifully, with videography by Elterwood Films documenting the vibe of the day.
After the wedding, India shared: “I wanted to say a little thank you for designing, creating, making the most beautiful dress. The material, the pattern cutting & craftsmanship are exquisite and I couldn’t imagine a dress feeling better on my skin.”
As always, what a pleasure it is to work with our radiant clients. Designing gowns like such is part of our purpose, but supporting brides through this once-in-a-lifetime journey is truly our raison d’être.
