Real Bride May - Bespoke Fusion of Beatrice and May Dresses

May and Sam’s wedding was held on a stunning summer day in July 2025. Set in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, their day was beautifully captured by Loraine Ross Weddings, both on film and digital.

The bride wore a bespoke fusion of the Beatrice and May dresses, blending modern edge with 1930s romance. The Beatrice’s sculpted satin panels met the May’s fluid, bias-cut silk and train which flares from a point just below the derrière, creating a silhouette that was both glamorous and effortlessly elegant. A perfect balance of keeping it simple and really letting the designs speak for themselves.

The photographs speak for themselves! May’s custom combination of our Beatrice Dress and May Dress was undeniably her ideal look, emphasising that anything is possible when it’s authentically you. At Rolling In Roses, we consistently and thoughtfully prioritise comfort, individuality, and connection, and of course, using exquisitely crafted, ethically sustainable luxury fabrics. If this approach deeply resonates with you, we would absolutely love to welcome you inside our atelier based in York.
