BRIDAL STYLIST & MARKETING ASSISTANT (PART-TIME)

We are now looking for a passionate, intuitive and style-driven individual to join our team in a unique hybrid role combining bridal styling and creative marketing support.
This is an opportunity to become the face of the brand on Saturdays in our York boutique, while also contributing creatively behind the scenes during the week.
Please do not apply if you are looking for temporary work. We are a small independent business and it will be a significant investment of time for us to train up a new member of staff for this role. We are looking for a permanent, dedicated member to join our team.
THE ROLE
• Part-time (12–15 hours per week)
• Hybrid working: Remote flexibility during the week
• Boutique-based: Required in York for 3 Saturdays per month
You will lead all bridal appointments on Saturdays, delivering a thoughtful, warm and highly personalised experience for every bride. Alongside this, you’ll support our marketing with beautifully written content and creative input across digital platforms.
BRIDAL STYLING RESPONSIBILITIES
Host each bride and her guests with warmth, tact, and ease
Deliver a level of service that feels luxury, but never performative
Deliver an exceptional customer experience in line with our brand values
Confidently communicate detailed knowledge of our designs, fabrics, and processes
Offer styling guidance, fit advice, and alterations insights
Create a calm, inclusive and welcoming environment for every bride
Act as the first point of contact and an ambassador for the brand
Prepare and maintain the studio to the highest standard
MARKETING + CREATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Write blog posts, newsletters, and real bride features
Translate client testimonials into engaging, on-brand content
Schedule and curate Pinterest content
Assist on editorial photoshoots where required
ABOUT YOU

You’ll also:
Have experience in luxury retail, fashion, or bridal
Be confident learning and communicating detailed product knowledge
Bring sensitivity, tact, and emotional intelligence when working with brides
Take pride in creating memorable, meaningful client experiences
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, or dressmaking
Understanding of sustainability within the fashion industry
Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or basic design tools
Familiarity with Squarespace
Interest in creative writing, visual storytelling, and brand aesthetics
