The Venus Corset. This stunning piece is sculpted from Drapes and folds are created with a beautifully lustrous organic silk/hemp blend, which catches and reflects the light with an almost iridescent luminosity. This soft outer layer is draped around traditional Victorian corsetry for an incredible silhouette, and finished with adjustable corded rouleaux straps tipped with either gold or silver aglets. A highly versatile piece which can be worn with our Olivia, Psyche, or Orpheus Skirts, or any of our other skirts or trousers. Constructed using the highest quality sprung boning and a base of corsetry coutil for excellent structure and support.

The Venus Italica, from which this piece takes its name, is a celebrated neoclassical marble sculpture by Italian artist Antonio Canova, which features beautifully draped folds of fabric.
