The Chiffon Tandoku Blouse. The secret of this piece is that it is constructed entirely from one panel of fabric, which is expertly cut, darted and manipulated to create the final shape. ‘Tandoku’ is Japanese for ‘one on its own’, referring to this single piece of material. Gathered poet sleeves are finished with tiny narrow cuffs, and a boat neckline perfectly frames the collar bones. Made from organic peace silk chiffon, ethically produced and woven in Britain. The Tandoku Blouse is also available in lace, and is the perfect accompaniment to our Koshiire Dress or Kirei Trousers.

Fabrics:

Organic peace silk chiffon: this chemical-free British-produced silk has the lowest possible carbon footprint; even the Mulberry leaves, which are the silkworms’ only food, are grown right here in England. The organic production protects the soil and surrounding eco-system and the Peace Silk certification means the silk worms are unharmed and able to live out their natural life cycle.

Sewn with organic cotton thread
