Real Bride Alice - The Katie-Lou Dress

Such a beautiful wedding to share with you today, Alice married her love Dave in autumn wearing our Katie-Lou dress, which is part of our Luminaries collection with good reason. Cut from bias draped 100% silk satin which is complimented by large scale silk devoré flowers on the bodice and sleeves. The devoré silk is transparent at the back panels and sleeves, and the dress fastens at the centre back with pearl buttons and loops. The underbust seam is cut high like an empire line at the front, then slopes downwards to the natural waist level at the back to form a very flattering line. The train is modest but still dramatic and has an internal wrist loop plus ribbon ties so it can be carried around easily or neatly tied up for dancing the night away. Fully lined with a breathable mixed silk/bamboo charmeuse satin.

It’s such a beautiful piece and looks incredible on any figure because the soft bias cut silk knows where to hang so perfectly. Teamed with muted Eucalyptus stems or vibrant summer flowers it’s also completely transitional, just a reminder that Rolling In Roses Pieces are available in any size, and we can customise any dress.
