The Golder Dress is made from a wonderfully delicate silk chiffon shot through with gold lamé which catches the light as it shimmers. This is overlaid onto an ethically produced organic peace silk, which is manufactured right here in England; even the mulberry leaves which are the silkworms’ only food are grown here too, making it a highly sustainable fabric. Featuring frilled pagoda sleeves, tiered flounced skirt, and V necklines, the Golder Dress is decorated with lace trims which are made the traditional way on century-old Leavers lace machines in Nottingham by a ninth-generation family of lace makers. The dress is also lined in eco-friendly orange-fibre fabric and has a concealed wrist-loop so it can be easily carried around, and internal ribbon ties to enable it to be tied out of the way for dancing. All Rolling In Roses pieces are available in any size.
